Deep Metallurgical Services (DMS) is a leading metallurgical Proficiency Testing (PT) provider, serving both Indian and overseas laboratories. We conduct 64 PT schemes quarterly, with over 95% participant recommendation. Our programs cover the full range of metallurgical testing methods and are highly cost-effective, with special discounts available for ongoing schemes.

DMS is an ISO 17043-2023 –accredited metallurgical testing laboratory with no outsourcing or subcontracting. All PT samples are produced, processed, and characterized in-house, ensuring traceability, reliability, and compliance with ISO 17043 requirements. Unused PT samples can be utilized for internal quality control and staff training.

Our PT programs are designed to meet ISO 17025 regulatory requirements while supporting method verification, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement. Since 2019, DMS has introduced several first-of-its-kind PT schemes in India and continues to expand offerings in hardness, metallography, corrosion, tensile testing, and chemical analysis.

Ongoing PT Programs namely :

• Hardness Tests: Brinell, 10/3000, 2.5/1875.5, Rockwell C & B, Micro & Macro Vickers – with Repeatability "R" and average hardness evaluation as per ASTM/ISO methods.
• Tensile Tests: Steel, non-ferrous, and transverse weld samples (ASME Section IX), either by ASTM or ISO methods
• Metallography: Dual-sample schemes with separate Z-scores.
• Corrosion: Intergranular and pitting corrosion dual-sample schemes.
• Chemical Analysis & Coating Tests: Salt spray, mass of zinc coating, and more
